The Swiss Chapter of Digital Communication Systems provides a platform for communication engineers in Switzerland to participate and to contribute on the international progress of communications systems.

Welcome to the Swiss Chapter of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS).

We organize technical talks and workshops with distinguished lecturers on topics related to geoscience and remote sensing. Joint lectures with partner organizations and seminar series in Switzerland are encouraged.

Our goal is to maintain and expand the professional network of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Members in Switzerland, to combine and complement networking efforts of existing remote sensing networks in Switzerland, and to provide a vertical link to the international IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS).

The petition to create the Swiss Geoscience and Remote Sensing Chapter was approved by the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) board on Oct 21, 2015. The inaugural event was held on Feb 11, 2015.
